established STC Construction in 1996.

The Man Behind STC

Born and raised in Monmouth County with a keen interest in building for as long as he can remember. Steve Theisen
was given a hammer and taught the basics from his father and grandfather who had lifelong careers in construction. Long, lazy summers building tree forts and clubhouses in the local woods were the foundation for his 30 years in the construction business. Although originally trained in new construction, Steve's passion lies in breathing "new life" into old structures. While giving special consideration for each home, Steve does whatever is necessary to keep the integrity of the home, its original structure, and surrounding space.
